In 1229 the Christian troops of Jaume I of Catalonia and Aragon conquered Mallorca, incorporating the island into the domain of the Crown of Aragon and reintroducing Christianity; this is also the time at which the island fell into the ambit of Catalan culture. The island was divided amongst the feudal lords and ecclesiastical bodies which had participated in the conquest with the Crown.

Lo siento pero sería interersante que la historia que ustedes plasman en este capítulo fuera corecta.Solo dos detalles: No nos conquistó la corona catalano aragonesa, en aquella época no esxistía Cataluña ni la tal corona catalano-aragonesa. Cataluña era un principado feudal y nada más. En segundo lugar la cultura balear y por tanto mallorquina no está englobada en la cultura catalana en absoluto, esto es una mentira con intererses políticos. No les escribo este comentario precisamente para que lo publiquen sino para que se documenten de los datos que les proprciono y los modifiquen si lo crren positivo. Disculpen las molestias
