Inca


Inca is the capital of the Raiguer district, a long, narrow strip of land located between the Tramuntana Mountains and the Es Pla district.

Thanks to its geographic location in the centre of Mallorca and excellent road and train connections, Inca is a commercial centre of the first order.

Its archaeological sites and the Church of Santa Maria la Major, which houses valuable works of art, the monasteries of Sant Domingo and Sant Francesc with its cloisters and examples of civil Gothic architecture, are outstanding examples of Inca´s heritage.

Parc del Serral de les Monges
Inca cuenta con un nuevo parque municipal, el Parc del Serral de les Monges. Con una superficie de 70.000 metros cuadrados, este enclave acogerá diversos proyectos medioambientales y educativos. El Consistorio prevé habilitar una escuela de naturaleza y un vivero forestal de especies autóctonas. Una de las actuaciones más inmediatas será la creación de un huerto ecológico gestionado por la Fundación Es Garrover.
