07MAY08 ESPN : Six of the bullet casings found after an April 29 shooting near Marvin Harrison's car wash and garage came from a gun that belongs to the Colts WR, Philadelphia police sources said. Police returned to the scene of the crime Monday to examine bullet holes in two residences after new information was provided to police by an alleged third victim of the shooting. Harrison's representatives say Harrison was not present during the shooting incident, and that his gun was not involved. Monday, Harrison's attorney declined comment. Police say they have no suspects in the case. The case is being taken over by Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham.

04MAY08 ESPN : Marvin Harrison Under Investigation for Alleged Shooting Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison's agent says reports that Harrison is under investigation in his hometown of Philadelphia in connection with a shooting this week are untrue. A shooting took place Tuesday near Harrison's North Philadelphia bar, a source told Anthony Gargano of Philadelphia's WIP Radio. Harrison's agent, Tom Condon, told ESPN 's Chris Mortensen on Friday: "I've spoken with Marvin and I've spoken with his attorney, and they say the reports are erroneous. Marvin was not involved in any shooting, and he is not the subject of this investigation." Condon declined to answer any other questions.

15FEB08 Indianapolis Star : The healing process continues for several key members of the Colts who have had offseason surgeries, and likely will spill into this summer's training camp. Foremost on the list are WR Marvin Harrison, DE Dwight Freeney and safety Bob Sanders. Team president Polian indicated each should be available for the start of the regular season but might not be ready when camp opens 7/24. "The short version is all the news is good," Polian said. Harrison, who missed 11 games this past season with an injury to his left knee, had an arthroscopic procedure to clean out a joint in his right knee "3 or 4 weeks ago," Polian said, calling it a success. As for Harrison's left knee, in which a capsule is still inflamed, the team is confident extended rest and therapy will heal it. Freeney had surgery in November to address an injury to his left foot, while Sanders had surgery on his right shoulder in January that forced him to pull out of the Pro Bowl. Polian stressed that none of the 3 would be pushed into action too soon.

11JAN08 AP reports on Marvin Harrison: Indianapolis learned how to cope without Marvin Harrison. Now the Colts need to readjust to getting him back. After missing 10 straight games because of a left knee injury, Harrison is expected to make his return Sunday in an AFC divisional playoff game against SD. If all goes well, Harrison's presence should give the Colts' already potent offense a boost as Indy tries to defend its Super Bowl title. "With Marvin we can do a lot more things because he understands things better," running back Joseph Addai said Thursday. "With the young guys we had to simplify some things, which is good, but the defense will have to respect him because of what he's done in the past." With Harrison, the Colts (13-3) could become more dangerous in the playoffs.

10JAN08 Indianapolis Star : The Colts expect Marvin Harrison to be in the starting lineup Sunday. But they're guaranteeing nothing. The team's eight-time Pro Bowl WR went through practice Wednesday, as did everyone else on the Colts roster except cornerback T.J. Rushing, who was out with an illness. Speculation had been high that Harrison, who missed 11 of the last 12 games after injuring his left knee Sept. 30 against Denver, would be ready for the postseason, which begins Sunday against San Diego. "I probably can't say without any doubt that he'll play because I thought that he might play the last week and it didn't work out that way,'' coach Tony Dungy said. "But he's practicing. We're planning on him starting, but we'll see how it goes." Harrison practiced in the days leading up to the regular-season finale with Tennessee but was held out of the game after going through pregame drills.

28DEC07 4for4 reports: Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee questionable) did more again on Friday and based on Tony Dungy's comments, he's expect to start Sunday. Still, don't count on him playing that much. Bottom line. He's not someone to lean on if you are trying to nail down a championship this weekend.

28DEC07 Indianapolis Star : The recovery plan for injured receiver Marvin Harrison is officially out in the open. Colts fans will be interested to know Harrison practiced again today for a 2nd consecutive day. The injury report just arrived via e-mail a few minutes ago. He's listed as questionable, which technically means a 50-50 shot of playing on Sunday night, but I've got to think Harrison is a go after missing nine consecutive games and 10 of 11 with what the team has said is a bruised left knee. He had not completed a full practice, that I can remember, in two months. Now he's completed a couple back-to-back. I thought it telling he attended Wednesday's practice. He didn't practice then, but the fact he was there was a deviation from previous weeks. Call my blog that day a hunch.

27DEC07 4for4 .com reports: Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee) did not practice Wednesday but took team reps Thursday. We were told earlier this week from a good source in Indy that they want to try Marvin for a few game snaps Sunday. Regardless, he's not someone to count on.

22DEC07 4for4 reports: Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee) was scratched for week 16. He did not practice this week.

20DEC07 4for4 reports: Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee) has not practiced this week and is not expected to play this weekend.

20DEC07 ESPN : Tony Dungy expects at least five Colts starters to miss Sunday's game against Houston because of injuries. On Wednesday, two days after team president Bill Polian ruled out receiver Marvin Harrison (knee) and right tackle Ryan Diem (knee), Dungy added three more names to the list. Defensive tackle Raheem Brock (ribs), safety Antoine Bethea (knee) and defensive end Robert Mathis (knee) are all expected to sit out for the second straight week. "I don't think they'll play either because anyone who is hurt isn't going to play," Dungy said. None of the five practiced Wednesday.

14DEC07 4for4 reports: Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee) is a scratch for Sunday. Rookie Anthony Gonzalez will start in his place.

13DEC07 4for4 reports: Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee) did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. He's not someone to count on this week.

12DEC07 4for4 reports: Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee) did not practice Wednesday and he remains off limits. He's not someone to count on this weekend.

09DEC07 Colts.com : Colts WR Marvin Harrison has been ruled out of the team's game against the Baltimore Ravens Sunday. Harrison, an eight-time Pro Bowl selection, has missed the last six games with a knee injury.

07DEC07 4for4 reports: Colts WR Marvin Harrison (knee questionable) did not practice Thursday by design. However, he did not practice Friday. As we have been saying all week, game time call or not, Harrison is not someone to count on Sunday.
