Cala en Bosch is a tourist resort in the south-west of Minorca, situated 11 kilometres from Ciutadella and some 56 kilometres from the airport. Apart from a few hotels, the development consists in the main of private villas and tourist apartment complexes, with all the services required by holidaymakers.
In the summer, the pleasure harbour is the nerve centre of the resort, as it is here that most of the bars and restaurants are to be found. It is a lively spot in the evening and some places stay open until late at night. Even so, Cala en Bosch is especially popular with families and people looking to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday.
The beach at Cala en Bosch has fine white sand and is 80 metres long. In the summer, it is one of the most popular in the area. In addition to services such as parasols and sun loungers, the resort offers the opportunity to enjoy various water sports.
Cala en Bosch is a strip of developed coastline in the municipality of Ciutadella and links up with the resort of Son Xoriguer.
