The small resort of S’Algar is around 10 kilometres from the airport and lies in the municipality of Sant Lluís in the east of the island. In addition to the essential amenities, the resort offers an excellent array of water sports for tourists.
As there is very little sand in S’Algar for sunbathers and swimmers, esplanades looking out to sea have been built. The neighbouring beaches of Cala Rafalet and Cala d’Alcalfar, where there is a small development, are, however, within easy walking distance.
