The resort of Son Xoriguer is in the south-west of Minorca, situated 11 kilometres from Ciutadella and some 56 kilometres from the airport. It links up with the Cala en Bosch development just 1 kilometre from its busy pleasure harbour. Son Xoriguer contains mainly family villas and tourist apartment complexes. Though the range of amenities is not as extensive as at Cala en Bosch, there is plenty on offer for holidaymakers to enjoy a peaceful holiday here by the sea.
The beach at Son Xoriguer offers the widest array of water sports in the area and is especially renowned for its yachting and underwater activities. This fine white sandy beach stretching almost 200 metres has all the services typical of a spot popular with tourists.
