The apartments were lovely didn't find them small at all. We were there for a week and in that time they were cleaned three times. The pool was brilliant perfect for kids and there were lifeguards on duty most if the day. We had no problems getting sun beds at any time of day. The entertainment staff were excellent they were there from 9am till 12.30pm and always spoke and were very helpful. The entertainment at night was brilliant.

My only complaint was the location you had to walk everywhere. The mini train was fine but if you missed it you would have to wait.

Stayed with 2 other families (friends). Totalled 6 adults and 8 kids under 13. The hotel accommadated our request for the group to be given 3 apartments close together on the ground floor. Staff helpful and friendly and whole complex had a nice atmosphere. Food in on site resturants was good, but cheaper and as good could be found in sa coma resort (Kings Head), if willing to take a 10 minute walk in the evening. On site shops for those who wished to cook there own meals and we thoght the shops prices were actually quite good. Apartments were more than suitable, but none had air-conditioning. Never inquired at reception if an air-conditioned apartment was an option. Apartments had maid service on 5 out of 7 days. Beds and towels always changed. TV's were available to hire, but for the first time in 7 years of travel we had no need to hire one, as there always seemed there was something else going on in the resort, Day and night. Nightly entertainment suited all ages, no one ever complained. Sa Coma beach is beautiful for those those who like the sand between their toes (and everywhere else), the hotel provides free transport 6 days a week to the beach area , by means of a tractor train, which all the kids enjoyed andgave the parents 5 minutes to recharge their batteries. All in all a very enjoyable holiday in a very good aparthotel in a very nice resort. 9/10

the weather was great and got a great sun tan.i found the food presented was ok but 3 days out of my 2 weeks lacked imagination.the rooms are somewhat dated now as i have been there 3 times since 2000.airconditioning is a must in this stifling heat. tv would be nice instead of having to pay hire charges. i wasn't charged the 1st time around in 2000. the evening entertainment was great but there were 3 acts in my stay didn't make the mark. the security guard always looks miserable and is very quick to call the police (who i felt are too heavy handed as i watched an incidence on my return). also next year thompson will not be providing the entertainments sports etc which is a shame be interesting if the next people to take over will make the grade i think not

The pool and grounds were kept spotless, with loads of sunbeds available. The shops on the site were OK for us and convenient for odds and ends. We ate out most of the time therefore didn't need much. There is a hypermarket which stocks everything. The apartment was very basic but you get what you pay for. When the front door opened you couldn't get into the cooker it was in an awkward place. Towels changed three times in the week and cleaners were always around.

We highly recommend when your eating out to go to the Royal Oak a ten minute walk from the Bougainvillea.

Nosotros viajamos sin niños, y aunque los apartamentos están orientados para familias inglesas, encontramos un rincón tranquilo donde disfrutar del buen tiempo. El complejo es enorme y está lejos del centro de Sa Coma, donde están los restaurantes y las tiendas, además de la playa. Aunque durante el día no es un problema, ya que hay un trenecito que va y viene. Los precios del supermercado y de los restaurantes dentro del complejo son más caros que fuera en Sa Coma.

Los apartamentos estaban limpios, así como en general el resto de las instalaciones, aunque para 4 personas resultan pequeños y con un equipamiento en la cocina muy básico.

The apartments were clean. Clean towels 3 times a week. We had a one bedroom apartment which was OK for us, but would be a little cramped if there was four of you. The apartment had all the essentials complete with microwave. It took us a while to find our way around the apartments, this place is huge!!

There is a small restaurant and the food was perfect and the staff very friendly. There was also three small shops. They were expensive but if you want to buy UK brands you have to pay the price Spanish brands are cheaper.

Brilliant holiday at Bouganvilla

We stayed at the Bouganvilla for two weeks self catering and it was a brilliant holiday. The rooms were cleaned 5 out of 7 days, towels and sheets changed often too. The apartments were nicely furnished. The pools were massive, these too were kept spotlessly clean, cleaners were around all over the complex. The boogie train is a good idea, but we walked must of the time. The entertainment is brilliant for the kids.

Prices on site are slightly dearer than in town, but you are paying for the convenience.
