My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel with our 23 month old little boy.

On arrival at approx 12:30pm we were unable to check in for another hour and a half which wasn't a problem as we had family staying just down the hill so were able to go there to freshen up etc. When we did visit our rooms for the first time we found that even though we were at the top (the rest of the apartments are staggered downhill) there were still alot of steps to get down with our buggy. There was no lift so if you were going down to the pool you had to make sure you had everything so you didnt have to clamber back up the steps! For families with young children or people with disabilities it isn't the best but this was our only flaw really.

Entering the room and going out on to the balcony we were astounded by the views from the terrace overlooking the pool area and the sea. The room itself was extremely clean and everything you needed was left in the kitchenette. it was immaculate and well presented. The TV only had about 4 channels that you could get signal on and all of these were either spanish but mainly german. The rooms were cleaned daily by the maids who were really friendly and polite. It was literaly a 2 minute walk down to the main bars/shops/resteraunts of Camp de Mar which itself is a gorgeous place to stay - not too quiet but not too loud. Just right. Theres not much parking if you were to have a hire car but we were tagging along with our relatives who had one so didnt really effect us. The kids play area was ok, it had what you'd expect really, however, my little boy couldnt go on the slide during the day as it was too hot and wouldve burnt his legs! Theres an indoor swimming pool with water features which is gorgeous too! table tennis, pool table at the side of the pool, enough beds for anyone and more! It really was a gorgeous place to spend our 8 nights, and like i say, the only downside was the amount of steps down to the pool. the supermarket is a bit expensive and overall your best getting your food etc from the supermarket in Peguera - 5mins away which costs about 4 to 5 euros in a taxi - dont pay anymore than though as their having you over!! the most we paid before we were told was 7 euros.

The resteraunt was a bit on the expensive side and a first we thought we were half board (some confusion re: booking) and were advised otherwise once we'd sat down with our meals, we were not asked to pay for this first dine although it was only our little boy who ate. I think it was supposed to be another 26 euros on top per day.

A few days into our stay the lock on our main door to the room broke, were still able to lock it with the key it just didn't automatically lock as you closed the door. This still wasn't fixed by the time we were checking out but again, it wasn't an issue as you could still lock it with the key.

We have booked again for next year for the same time but unfortunately not at the same hotel due to the steps!! It wasnt as much of a problem for us because we were on the top level with the road but still had steps to get up and down and at 1am in the morning when your trying to keep an almost 2yr old asleep isnt the best!!

This hotel has gorgeous views, amazing apartments and staff and would definately recommend (just not for disabled or people with buggys!!)

Un lugar idílico frente al mar

El hotel está situado en un lugar realmente idílico frente al mar, en la bahía de Camp de Mar. Este es un hotel para los que buscan tranquilidad, ya que en Camp de Mar no hay más que unos cuantos locales y pocas posibilidades para hacer la compra. El supermercado del hotel es caro. Contar con un coche de alquiler facilita mucho las cosas, para poder hacer la compra en un supermercado de las principales cadenas, que se encuentran tanto en Paguera como en Andratx, a unos 10 minutos en coche.

Los apartamentos están muy bien, con una cocina que tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar y una terraza estupenda con vistas al mar, y una mesa donde pueden comer perfectamente 3 personas.
