Hotel close to the port of Palma

The Mirador is an excellent 4 star hotel. While only there for one night we found the room and facilities were very good. There is some traffic noise after 6.30 a.m. if you are in a room facing the main road. We had an excellent breafast and good service at dinner, but didn't use the spa. The bus for the airport stops opposite the hotel and takes about 30 mins, so no need for a taxi. It is a good 15 minutes walk to the old town but has excellent views of the port area.

An old style building and an ideal position

The Hotel we found clean, tidy and our room was above average size with a side view of the marina. The buffet breakfast including a choice of hot options was very good, lots of fresh fruit and juices, cereals, bacon, eggs, etc. The hotel is an older style building with marble and dark woods through out. The position is ideal, overlooking the marina and surrounded by restaurants. The staff were pleasant and efficient. It was also only a short walk to the cathedral and old town.
